A scientific survey, published in Nature, used blood from donors over 60 and donors under 30 to see how cancer reacted with the two different types of blood.
Cancerous cells were put into the blood samples. The study found that the cancer reacted differently; in older blood: “cells became much more aggressive, much more metastatic and even showed resistance to chemotherapy.”
Analysis determined a dozen different chemicals between the two bloods. On further research, one of the chemicals, MMA, when applied to cancer cells, caused the same aggressive, negative reactions.
The thinking is MMA is produced by every cell in our body but we get less good at clearing it out as we age. I wonder if fasting, and autophagy, has an anti-aging effect on our blood?
