A quicky recipe that is guaranteed to please.
The smoothness of the goat cheese balances per.. it’s good.
Prep time – 10 mins
Cooking time – about 15 mins
- Chicken (you can use leftover chicken, raw chicken pieces, anything)
- Dried Italian Herb mix
- Sliced Onions
- Goat Cheese
- Fresh bread (I used some Focaccia in this one, but a baguette will do nicely)
- Olive Oil
Fry up the onions on medium heat – you’ll want to caramelize them so that they’re translucent. Add in the chicken and toss in some of the Italian herbs.
Put the mixture on slices of bread and crumble goat cheese over it. Be generous as shown in the picture. Bake at 400 degrees (or higher if you’re impatient) or broil on high until it’s nicely browned as shown.
